I know I have mentioned this before but I am so impressed I just have to tell you about it again. The Tattered Cover has a series of live events - author speakers - that has been going on for awhile. They record these (Podcasts), and you can access them on-line at the above link. You don’t need to understand what a Podcast is or how it is done to enjoy listening to these authors - just click on the button and you should be able to hear the program. Here are some of the more recent programs:
* Audrey Niftenegger author of the Time Traveler’s Wife, speaking about her new book The Three Incestuous Sisters.
* Zadie Smith author of On Beauty
* Michael Connelly author of The Lincoln Lawyer
* Carl Hiaasen author of Flush - a YA novel

Tomorrow is Jaci’s last day and I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we will miss her and wish her only the best for her future. I will never be able to thank Jaci enough for all that she has done for me as my mentor and my boss. I only hope that I can do half as much for any library that I work for as she has done for us and our library. Mindy
