I would enjoy hearing what were your three favorite books of 2006 - I am always on the look out for new authors. I’ll start.
THE BOOK THEIF: I listened to this on CD and almost gave up after the first disk. I am glad I did not - I absolutely loved this book and highly recommened it!
MARLEY AND ME: I laughed so hard I cried. Great for anyone who loves pets.
FROM GOOD TO GREAT: Fascinating and right on the money in my opinion.
YOUR TURN!

I read Marley and me and suggest that you might not want to read the last chapter. It’s just too sad.
One of the best books I read (actually, I listened to it on CD) this year was Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. It an interesting concept.
I followed this up with the counterpoint to Blink, a book called Think by Michel Legault. Although this was also interesting, it wasn’t as facinating as Blink.
The other book I listened to that I can recommed is Good to Great by James C. Collins. It was so good that I listened to the whole thing twice.

I re-read Lamb for the fourth time since it’s been published and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to just laugh. All of Christoper Moore’s book are great but Lamb is a must-read. Stephen King The Cell was pretty good as well. Enrique’s Journey was my absolute fav for 2006. It’s a sad story that has “movie” written all over it.
