Well I was up a tiny bit today…. Has to be water retention.
Yesterday I did not exercise - literally no time.
Had my usual 3 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee with 1 tbs of skim milk, 2 melba toast, 2 apples, 2 cups of lettuce with 100 grams of chicken breast for lunch and for dinner I had a 95% lean hamburger patty (100 grams raw) with one cup of raw tomato. I had two and 1/2 bottles of water so well over 64 ounces.
Today I am planning 20 minutes on the stair machine and then Tai Chi tonight.
My energy is good and I am not having hunger pains but am enjoying my food - and I slept well for the last two nights!

I am down .08 of a lb. today :)
Yesterday was Yom Kippur and I fasted so I followed a slightly different protocol. I did not drink any tea but I did drink well over 64 oz. of water. I ate nothing from sundown the day before until 7:30pm last night. I had a 5 oz. filet mignon (YUM!) and one whole heirloom tomato (YUM, YUM), as per Dr. Malmgren’s directions.
I did not exercise - and even today I am really sore from Sunday’s hike - but I am hoping to get a walk in.

Today is the beginning of my fourth week. I have lost 14 lbs total. I go in today for measurements so I’ll post that tomorrow.
Since I started my period a few days ago I have not had a shot for three days - I’ll have one today though.
Yesterday I went on a three hour hike and going up was really hard but then I got a second wind and literally felt lighter and had a great descent! I brought my lunch and ate it right before we started the hike (grilled chicken breast on two cups of lettuce), and I ate about a half an apple during the hike, drank lots of water and then finished the apple on the way home.
I went to a dinner party on Saturday night - I ate my dinner before we left the hotel room (one cup of tomatoes and a 95% lean hamburger patty that I had cooked at home) and I was able to watch my friends drink margarita’s and eat mexican food with eating or drinking any myself. It was hard but I am proud of myself.
Saturday I went to Tai Chi and cooked and measured all my food for this week.
I am looking forward to a good week!

I am down 14 lbs. overall in 24 days - I’m liking that.
Still had my bladder infection though so I had to get another perscription - I hate taking medication.
Finally had my period - though it might not happen - it was four days late.

Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the stair machine.
I drank one cup of black tea, one cup of coffee with 1 tbs of skim milk, 64 oz. of water +, two melba toasts, two apples, 1 cup of cooked spinach with 100 grams of Cod and dinner was fabulous! I had one cup of cooked cabbage and 100 grams of Laura’s low fat beef sliced thin on top. I don’t eat red meat very often and it tasted great! I also took 2 of the morning and evening vitamins.

I was so tired from not sleeping the night before that I was asleep by 7pm but then up at 11:30pm until about 3pm and then I slept until 7am. Not a good night, lots of tossing and turning and dreaming….

Well I found out that I messed up the apple day. I thought it was up to 6 apples but the rule is you must eat six apples. In any case I did loose a pound yesterday and .4 of a pound today.

Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the stair machine. I had over 64 oz. of water and only two cups of tea. I ate one apple and one orange and two melba toasts. For lunch I had one cup of asparagus and 100 grams of some really tough cod. For dinner I had two cups of lettuce and 100 grams of chicken sliced think and quickly cooked with apple cider vinegar and a little garlic salt.

I’m still waking up at 3:30 and not being able to fall back asleep - stress! And no period yet…

So yesterday I did an apple day and I lost .4 of a lb. That was quite the disappointment. I had high hopes that it would kick things back into gear and I would at least start loosing a pound a day again… I had also hoped that increasing the HCG to 50 would help - but maybe it takes some time.

Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the stair machine. I drank one cup of black tea and drank about 32 oz. of water. I took two antibiotics and ate three apples. I was not especially hungry and my energy felt good, although this morning I am feeling a little tired.

Well I was down about .2 of a pound from my lowest weight so far - I’m not sure if I should do an apple day or not but I think it can’t hurt and I will go ahead.
I have decided to write down everything I eat just to make sure that nothing I am putting in my mouth is slowing me down:
Yesterday: 2 Melba Toasts, 1 apple, 1 orange, 100 gm. of crab meat with 2 cups of lettuce, 100 gm of cod with 1 cup of cabbage and one cup of water - seasoned with garlic salt. There was no seasoning on the salad. 64 oz. of water and 4 cups of tea. 2 each of the vitamins, 1 vitamin D, 1 antibiotic.

I did go to Tai Chi for one hour.

Saw Dr. Malmgren this morning.
I had not lost any weight or inches since the week before.
He bumped up the HCG as high as it can go from 40 to 50. He also gave me a vitamin B shot. If I do not loose a couple of pounds tomorrow morning when I weigh I will do an apple day where I eat six apples and drink limited water.
He also wants me to increase my water - which I started on today.
I am optimistic that this is going to work and I am not going to give up!

Yesterday I was back down to my lowest weight and today I was up a few tenths of a pound. I am still awaiting my period which should come any day. I have not exercised in days as I was so tired from not sleeping well last week. I did get a lot of rest this weekend but I also got a UTI and am now on antibiotics. I’ll tell Dr. Malmgren about that when I see him today but I don’t imagine it will change anything. So at this point I have lost 11 lbs. in 21 days.

My goal for this week is to get back into the exercise routine - at least 20 minutes a day - a stick to the plan! Tonight I do have Tai Chi so I probably will get back on track with that.

Yesterday I was so hungry! But I made it through the day. I am still up about a pound but I expect that to go away in a day or two. I have not worked out in a few days because I have been sleeping so bad and I have been so tired. This might be part of the reason I am hungry too. I hope I have my period soon….
